Christina Marie (Phillips) James was born on July 16, 1941 in Unger, OK, the daughter of Custer Phillips and Alma (Jacob) Phillips.  She was a lifelong resident of the Unger and Boswell communities.  She passed from this life on March 10, 2022 in Paris, TX.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rodger Phillips, and Anthony Phillips; sisters, Leona Vaughn, Marchalen Lawson, and Janet Phillips.

Christina had many hobbies.  She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, cooking, and fishing.  She liked telling stories and loved Sunday dinners with her family.  Christina also loved little babies, but her greatest joy was visiting with her grandchildren.  She loved her dogs and cats, and most of all, she loved her family.

Christina is survived by her sons, Michael James and wife Christal of Hugo, OK, Stephen James and wife Dreama of Fort Towson, OK; daughters, Rose Neal and husband Greg of Hugo, OK, Diane Hyland of Hugo, OK, and Tammie Chadrick and husband David of Hugo, OK; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
