Mary Chesolene (Ford) Thurman, 87 was born on January 21, 1935, in Haworth, Oklahoma, the daughter of Chester Wade Ford and Lydia (Bryant) Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Lloyd Wilkins; 2 ^nd husband, Marvin Thurman; son, Pete Wilkins; daughter, Mary Lou Wilkins; brother, Wendell Pitt; sister Jo Ann Ford and grandchildren, Rhae Davis and Colton Rard.

Chesolene was a lifelong resident of the Oleta and Rattan area. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, painting and working in her yard. Above all things, Chesolene loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She has left a void in their lives, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Chesolene is survived by her daughters, Melvadean Davis of Spencerville, OK and Leah Wilkins of Corinne, OK; grandchildren, Fred Wilkins, Kash Wilkins and Emily, Misty Woody; great grandchildren, Kimber Rose Wilkins, Connor Rard, Kamily Lou Wilkins and Demi Wilkins; brothers, Edward Pitt and Lee Pitt; sisters, Margie Pratt and Doris Pitt along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.
