Charlsie Dean (Brantley) Hamilton, 94, of Valliant, OK, was born on September 21, 1929, in Odem, TX, the daughter of Charlie and Lela (Harman) Brantley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Thommy Eugene Ward; granddaughter, Nevaeh; four brothers and two sisters.

Charlsie grew up in California and later moved with her family to Valliant in 2012. She worked as a nurse's aide until her retirement. Charlsie loved cooking, especially for her family. She also enjoyed reading and attending church at First Baptist Church in Valliant, where she had been a member for several years. Charlsie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Charlise is survived by her daughter, Shirley Schwemley of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Larry Hendrix and wife, Candice, John W. Ward, Larry Shannon Ward and Elliot Ward; great grandchild, Cash; brother Joe Brantley of Idaho; along with a host of other friends and loved ones.
