Catherine Isabel (Snapp) Green, 94, went to her heavenly home on October 31, 2025. She was born on February 12, 1931, in Bismark, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Pemberton Snapp, Sr. and Jennie Alice (Herndon) Snapp. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband R.C. Green; son, Kevin Lee Green; grandchildren, Jennifer Cogburn, Jake Green and Shiloh Compton; brothers, John Carl Snapp, Woodrow Snapp and Marvin Snapp; and sister, Mary Ruth Andoe.

Catherine married R.C. Green on September 8, 1947, in DeQueen, Arkansas and they celebrated 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2011. Catherine was a devoted homemaker; her kitchen was the heart of the home where family and friends gathered to share in the comfort of her cooking. Catherine's days were filled with the simple pleasures of life, she enjoyed reading, especially her bible, and playing bingo with her friends. Above all else, Catherine's love for her family knew no bounds and she cherished every moment with them. Her legacy is one of love and faith that will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved her.

Catherine is survived by her children; R.C. "Rocky" Green, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Herndon, OK, Jayne Thrasher and husband, James of Wright City, OK, Allana Hardaway and husband, Justin of Utah, and Kathy Compton and husband, Dewayne of Alabama; grandchildren; Mystie Smith, Ellen Young, Sarah Taylor, Dustin Compton, Tana Thrasher and Kevin Lee Green, Jr.; 12 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, friends and loved ones.
