Brian Kirk Cottrill was born on January 26, 1966 in Alva, Oklahoma to Virgil Dale Cottrill and Freda Jane (Ross) Cottrill. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Cottrill; mother, Freda Jane (Ross) Saeger; brother, Kevin Cottrill.

Brian worked in the oilfield most of his adult life and was considered a workaholic. He loved going camping and fishing. He liked watching Nascar and the monster truck races on television and enjoyed playing Sudoku on his phone. Family was very important to Brian and he spent as much time as he could with them and his friends. Brian will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Brian is survived by his brother, Shawn Cottrill of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; sisters, Sherri McDonald and husband Nathan of Valliant, Oklahoma and Donna Loving and wife Emily Lynch of Idabel, Oklahoma; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
