Bobbie Lee Fuller Anderson, 92, was born December 8th, 1930 in Rufe, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of George Vess Fuller and Willie Priscilla Fortune Fuller. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack Fuller and G.V. Fuller; sister, Lorene Boucher; and Charlotte Fuller, who she loved like a sister. Most recently, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 75 years, James "Buddy" Anderson.

Bobbie was a graduate of Valliant High School, Class of 1947. She married the love of her life, Buddy Anderson on January 24th, 1948 in Paris, Texas. Bobbie was a member of the Felker Free Will Baptist Church and McCurtain County Home and Community Education Association, sometimes known as Extension Homemakers. She was homemaker of the year numerous times during the '80s and '90s. She served in several county offices and judged several county fairs, particularly in the sewing category. Bobbie was an excellent cook and, as a farmer's wife, prepared several meals to serve her family. During most of her life, Bobbie would make biscuits from scratch. Once she finally switched to canned biscuits, at the age of 90, she considered herself a lazy cook. But Buddy never once complained when she changed the way she made her biscuits. Bobbie was an avid seamstress whose work was absolutely exquisite. The clothes she could produce on the farm would match anything sewn by a couturier. Through her love, Bobbie made a working farm into a family home. Buddy and Bobbie were two teenagers when they fell in love and through hard work and dedication, created the Anderson Farm, which will make its 75th birthday in 2024. Bobbie was born a farmer's daughter and then became a rancher's wife. She was a homemaker, a hostess, a mother, a friend, an aunt, and most of all, she specialized in being a Grannie. No matter how far away her grandsons and great-granddaughter traveled, their true home was always with their Grannie. The twinkle in her blue eyes and her young girl giggle was with Bobbie until her final days. She embodied the best traditions of rural America and its agricultural heritage. The love she felt for her family radiated in her big smile and the tightness of her hugs. Bobbie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Judy Smith of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Justin Louis Smith of Valliant, OK and James Oliver (J.O.) Smith of Valliant, OK; great granddaughter, Maggi J. Smith of Ringold, OK; sister-in-law, Geneva Swisher of Elgin, OR; treasured nieces Sandy Bolton, KaLyn Jackson, and LeeAnn Jacobs; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
