Robert Ralph "Bob" Sanford, 91, was born on December 6, 1932, in Lindsay, OK, the son of Lawrence and Burdene (Belk) Sanford. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother and father; brothers, Glen, Charles and Jerry Sanford and sister, Nadine Kreuscher.

Bob graduated elementary school from New Hope, OK and graduated high school from Lindsay, OK. The family moved to Valliant, OK in the 50's. Bob proudly served four years in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his return home, he attended Southeastern College and went on to become a teacher. Bob taught school several years in New Mexico, Wyoming and Oklahoma. He later worked for Little Dixie for many years. In his later years, Bob took care of his mother until her passing at age 94. He always loved a trip to the mountains. Bob loved the scenery and riding around all the dirt roads with friends and family. He also loved hunting for muscadines and blackberries. Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bob is survived by his adoptive/appointed son, Joker Stuart and wife, Faith of Wright City, OK; grandchildren, Samantha Stuart, Jennifer Castonguy and Rusty Stuart; several nieces, nephews, cousins and two sisters-in-law, Pat Sanford of Wright City, OK and Gloria Sanford of Valliant, OK; along with a host of other friends and loved ones.
