William "Billy" Edward Downum, 62, was born on August 14, 1962, in Carmel, California, the son of Francis Downum and Jerlene "Jeri" (Andrews) Clark. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Downum; mother and stepfather, Jeri and Bill Clark; grandparents, Marvin and Bernice Andrews; brother, Thomas "Tom" Downum; and his favorite dog, Hagrid.

Billy married his wife, Kerri (Anderson) Downum on August 21, 1990. They built their life together in Garvin, Oklahoma, where they have resided for the last 33 years. Billy worked many years as a welder and traveled all over doing the work he loved and was very talented at. Billy loved working with his hands so if he wasn't welding, he would be tinkering on things he had found. He truly believed in the old saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure". Billy was a proud husband, father and grandfather; he enjoyed building cherished memories with the people he loved. He would drop whatever he was doing to help them. Billy's passing has left a void in their lives, but his loving memory will live on through them.

Billy is survived by his wife, Kerri Downum of the home; sons, Alex Downum and wife, Chandler of Valliant, OK and Nick Downum of Missouri; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Brody and Parker; brother, Francis "Jake" Downum Jr. of Sulfur, OK; along with a host of friends, family and loved ones.
