Betty June (Alexander) Herd-Gamblin, 93, was born on June 1, 1933, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Aubrey Otis Alexander and Clara Faye (Berry) Alexander. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Tommy Dale Herd, 2 infant brothers and sister, Norma Jean Walker.

Betty was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and was also a member of the United Church of God. She enjoyed helping her husband in his construction business and that soon turned into her own little remodeling business after she gained her own customers. Betty enjoyed gardening and spending time in her yard. She loved spending time with her sisters and family. Betty lived a big life with so many accomplishments. She has left her family with many treasured memories, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Linda Herd Lamborn of Calera, OK; granddaughter, Michelle Lynn Casbeer of Atoka, OK; sisters, Audrey Faye Tompkins of Midland, TX and Joann Farris and husband Ross of Edmond, OK along with numerous friends and family members.
