Betty Jo (Haley) Garrett, 80, was born on October 6, 1944, in Rufe, Oklahoma to Glenn and Stella (Gantt) Haley. She was preceded in death by her sons, Scott Garrett and Billy Joe Garrett; daughter, Traci Garrett; grandson, Brice Hobbs; great grandson, Kaston Lee Garrett; brothers, Terry Haley and Larry Haley; paternal grandparents, Clyde and Essie Haley; maternal grandmother, Myrtle Gantt.

Betty was born and raised in Rufe, Oklahoma. She married William "Tak" Garrett in November of 1964 at her mother's house in Oklahoma City. Betty worked as a beauty operator and hairdresser for many years. She loved going to the Thursday and Saturday night auctions, fishing and going to the Salvation Army store. Betty loved Christmas and had twelve decorated Christmas trees in her house. She was always looking for new ways to decorate. Betty would often be seen out and about with her best friend, Vickie Slabaugh. Above all else, she was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband, Tak, and dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty will be so missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her husband, William "Tak" Garrett of Valliant, OK; daughter, Terri Hughes of Rufe, OK; grandchildren, Kynan Hobbs and wife, Tiffany, Krispin Hobbs, Korbyn Garrett, Kristian Garrett, Elijah Garrett and Rayle Elliott; great grandchildren, Kallen Hobbs, Azalea Hobbs, Khalo Garrett, Everly Johnston, Malachi Hobbs, Chelsy Hobbs, Kreedon Hobbs and Kohen Hobbs; brother, Mickey Haley of Idabel, OK; sisters, Patricia Culp of Powderly, TX and Barbara White of Iron Stob, OK; her cousin, that was more like a sister, Gail Corrine; her faithful dog companion, Bella; and her best friend, Vickie Slabaugh; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
