Barbara Jean (Crockett) Yoder, a cherished wife, godmother, and friend, passed away on December 17, 2023. She was born on December 16, 1949, in Brownwood, TX to Betty Jean (Hawkins) Crockett. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother.

Barbara met Paul Yoder and they were married on September 7, 1974, at the Church of Christ in Longview, TX. After completing her bachelor's degree, she become the office manager of her husband's auto repair business, located in Sawyer. Barbara and her husband not only worked side by side, but also dedicated themselves to guiding the youth in their church. Together, they led the teen group at the Valliant Church of Christ, an experience that touched the hearts of many young individuals. Her loving spirit also extended to raising both Pomeranians and Chow-Chows, ensuring each pup found a loving home. She sold many of her puppies locally, to ensure they were going to families who would care for them as much as she did. Barbara also enjoyed watching television, with "The Big Bang Theory" being among her favorite shows. She loved to travel, with New Mexico being one of her favorite destinations. Above all else, she loved God, her husband, God daughters and her church daughters and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.

Barbara is survived her husband, Paul Yoder; her God daughters, Darla Christine Groeger, Shelby Mae Hull and Cortney Lee Morris; along with a host of other friends and loved ones.
