Barbara Ann (Green) Burton, 76, was born on December 27, 1946 in Hugo, OK, the daughter of Emmett Green and Bealy (Oakes) Green. She departed this life on March 1, 2023, and entered her heavenly home. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Floyd Green.

Barbara spent most of her life in the Hugo and Broken Bow area, where she worked as a bank teller for many years. She had a passion for gardening and flowers. Barbara had a green thumb, loving to plant different flowers and plants year-round. One of her favorite places to go was Hobby Lobby, she looked forward to going every Saturday with Shirley and the girls. Above all else, Barbara loved her family and her two precious dogs, Mali and Sadie dearly. Spending time with them was her greatest joy and biggest blessing. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her loving family; brothers, Billy Green and wife, Martha of Hugo, OK and Jimmy Green and wife, Leslie of Hugo, OK; sister, Shirley Collins of Fort Towson, OK; special niece, Terry Karr of Hugo, OK; special great niece, Brittini Ellison of Soper, OK; great-great niece, Conley Ellison; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
