Ashley Dawn (McKinney) Miller, 38, gained her heavenly wings on August 10, 2024, passing on from this world at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by; Grandpa Ed McKinney and Grandma Nora McKinney; Grandpa William Anderson and Grandma Estherleene Anderson; Pa James Muse; and brother-in-law, Nathan Miller.

Ashley was born on September 9, 1985, in Talihina, Oklahoma, the daughter of Gary "PeeWee" McKinney and Teresa (Anderson) McKinney. She was raised in McCurtain County and graduated from Broken Bow High School, Class of 04'. Ashley went on to pursue a career in nursing and worked as an LPN for the Choctaw Nation. Ashley married the love of her life, Jason Miller, on January 17, 2009, at the NaYimmi Baptist Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma and they made their home in Valliant, Oklahoma.

Ashley loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved watching her children excel in their activities and getting everyone together for large family gatherings. Ashley loved being outdoors; hunting and fishing. She was a woman of faith and enjoyed sharing that with her family by attending church together.

Ashley had a smile that could light up a room and she wore that smile often. No matter what she faced in life she always met those challenges head on and with grace. Through every hardship she faced she always made those around her feel her joy and kindness. Ashley truly was a light in this world and even though her passing has left a void in many lives; her memory will always shine bright in those who knew and loved her.

Ashley is survived by her loving family; husband, Jason Miller of the home; children, Kenlie Miller and Jaxson Miller; parents, Gary "PeeWee" McKinney and Teresa McKinney of Broken Bow, OK; brothers, Carl McKinney and wife, Valarie of Paden, OK and Reggie McKinney and wife, Whitley of Lukfata, OK; sister, Kay Meddock of Broken, Bow, OK; father-in-law and mother-in-law,  Ronny and Cheryl Miller; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeremy and Brittney Miller, Michelle and Allen Stinnett and Tammy Miller; Granny Betty Muse of Broken Bow, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, family and loved ones.
