Arthur D. Cochaneur, 67, was born on May 25, 1959, in Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Lon Cochanauer and Margret Sloan Cochanauer. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arthur was a lifelong resident of Boswell, Oklahoma and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He enjoyed helping people around the community and visiting with his family and friends. Arthur loved cats and sitting on his porch listening to old country music. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Arthur is survived by his daughter, Mita Jefferson; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Gary Cochanour and Jimmy Lee Cochanour; sisters, Betty Logue, Betty Cochanour, Mary Shelton, and Helen Cochanour; the Stevens family whom he considered his second family along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
