Annie Merle (Coleman) Ward, daughter of Meril Coleman and Dessie (Graves) Coleman. Born on November 3, 1942, in Wright City, Oklahoma. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 8, 2026. Annie was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jeffrey Ward.

Annie spent her younger years in Wright City, Oklahoma. She later married Alton Gale Ward and moved to California. For a time, she worked as a hairdresser before devoting herself to caring for her home and raising her family. In her later years, Annie moved to Texas to be closer to family. She was a devout Christian who loved Jesus and carried her faith with her through life's joys and hardships. Annie loved her family deeply and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She also found joy in the simple things in life, especially listening to the birds sing. Through the many challenges she faced in life, Annie showed strength, perseverance, and faith that became an inspiration to her family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ryan Toon for the loving care, friendship and devotion he showed Annie. Annie will be lovingly remembered for her faith, her love for her family, and the strength she showed throughout her life. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior. 'Well done, good and faithful servant."

Annie is survived by her daughters, Angela Glossup and husband, Gary of Sumner, TX and Julie Toon of Granbury, TX, grandson, Ryan Toon of Granbury, TX, who was also her best friend and devoted caregiver; along with several other grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Martin of Nixa, MO, Faye Nolan of Blossom, TX, Wanda Morris of Wright City, OK and Susan Claborn of Wright City, OK and brother, Charley Coleman of Wright City, Oklahoma.
