Andrew Sherfield, 74, was born on April 5, 1949 in Grant, Oklahoma, the son of Herman Sherfield and Gracie Lee (Prince) Sherfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Marcus Bailey; stepson, Kevin Johnson; grandson, Montavious Tejuan Sherfield and brothers, Donell Sherfield, Willie Lee Brewer and Lester Hall.

Andrew grew up and lived in the Hugo area most of his life and was a graduate of Grant High School. He was a member of the Galilee Church of God in Christ and was baptized by Pastor Kendall McAfee. Andrew was a proud Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. After his service, he returned to the area where he worked for several different companies, such as, Campell Soup and Superior Switchboard Technology Inc. He began dating his loving wife, Theresia, in 2001 and they were joined together as one in marriage on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2007 in Hugo. Andrew loved to be outdoors and enjoyed riding his lawnmower and keeping his car clean. He enjoyed watching old westerns and football. Andrew was a joker and liked to pick on people, enjoyed eating fried fish and shrimp and was always dressed sharp. Above all else, Andrew loved his family dearly and loved spending time with them. His presence will be truly missed by his family and loved ones.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Theresia Sherfield; daughters, Latrecha Bailey and (Rod) of Paris, TX and Shaun Sherfield and (Timothy) of Oklahoma City, OK; stepdaughters, Chelsey Watkins and Kimberly Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Henry Reed Jr. of Paris, TX; stepsons, Michael Bruce and David Bills of Hugo, OK and Kacy Barr of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Monshay Black, Luey Bronner and Travius Bronner; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Wilbert Brewer of CA, Herman Sherfield of CA and Franklin Tarver; sisters, Dorthy Lee Hawkins and Sharon Kay Williams of Oklahoma City, OK, Rosie Lee Sherfield of Dallas, TX, and Doris Jean Perry of Hugo, OK along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
