Alvin DeWayne Love, Jr., passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, at the age of 59, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 3, 1965, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Alvin DeWayne Love, Sr. and Sandra Kay (Speaks) Love. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Misty Stalling.

Alvin lived in Oklahoma City for most of his life and was an integral part of the Nortek manufacturing team for many years. He took great pride in his work, but his true joy came from his time spent outside of the workplace. Alvin's love for the outdoors was evident to anyone who joined him on a fishing trip or watched him cheer on his favorite baseball team. His interest in collecting Hot Wheels was more than just a pastime, it was a treasure hunt that brought excitement to his life. Alvin's adventurous spirit also led him to travel to new places and seek out new experiences. He was a true movie buff, with a particular fondness for Star Wars and Marvel films. Alvin's role as #1 Papa to his seven granchildren was one he cherished above all others. Alvin's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will forever be a beacon of light for those he loved.

Alvin is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Gast) Love; daughters, Heather Loman and husband, Tanner of Hugo, OK and Jasmine Love and husband, Nizzar; 7 grandchildren; father, Alvin DeWayne Love, Sr. of Florida; sisters, Veronica Potts and husband, Dallas of Oklahoma City, OK, Lawanda Warren of Oklahoma City, OK, Rhonda Love of FL and Chrisanne Chartier (David) of AR along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and loved ones.
